The City of Daytona Beach is recruiting for a Chief Sustainability and Resiliency Officer (Engineer II). The position will serve as the lead staff person responsible for development and implementation of the City’s resilience strategy as well as managing the City’s water conservation program. The CSRO articulates a compelling vision for community resilience and conservation and effectively coordinates with City government staff and stakeholders in the community to achieve progress toward that vision. The CSRO will directly oversee implementation of high-priority resilience projects, including securing funding for resilience initiatives, managing project budgets, formulating work plans, and monitoring and reporting progress.
